From humble beginnings in 1911, MOHAI has grown into the largest private heritage organization in the State of Washington with a collection of over four million objects, documents, and photographs from the Puget Sound region’s past. A portion of this collection (roughly 2% at any given time) is on display in the museum’s galleries at the historic Naval Reserve Armory in Lake Union Park. MOHAI uses these artifacts along with cutting edge, hands-on interactive experiences to make history come alive.

In addition to museum exhibits, MOHAI hosts a variety of award-winning youth and adult public programs and collaborates with community partners on local events and activities.  MOHAI is accredited by The Alliance of American Museums and is a Smithsonian Affiliate.

If you are planning on attending the Sweetheart event on February 15th at the MOHAI then please RSVP to Tony Andrews at clk55tony@gmail.com by February 13th.  Additionally, in order to get the group rate discount at MOHAI of $18.00 pp we need to pay as a lump sum.  So it would be best to bring cash so I can assemble the entry fee and pay all at once upon entering.  Lastly, in order to get the group rate we do need at least 10 people attending so please let us know as soon as possible.  We will be meeting up out front MOHAI at 09:45am.

After we peruse the MOHAI we will head over for Lunch at the World Famous IVARS Salmon House.   Ivars is at 401 NE Northlake Way in Seattle.  We plan to be there at 1:30.   Parking is available out front, for more info see IVARS website. Lunch is no host.

Please let us know you are coming by contacting Tony Andrews. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call at (503) 309-7392.

We look forward to seeing you there.
