41st Annual LaConner Tulip Daffodil Rallye
Saturday, April 20th, 8:30 am

Walmart SuperCenter, Mount Vernon

The MG Car Club NW Centre is hosting the 41st running of the LaConner Tulip Daffodil Rallye and we have been invited to join their rallye.  If you have never been to the Tulip Rallye, this event is a gimmick rallye where questions take the place of time/distance checkpoints so anyone should be able to compete successfully.  All you need is a sharp eye and a sense of humor.  Please note – speed is not recommended!

The Seattle Section MBCA will have a First Place finisher award if we meet the 5 car minimum. If not, we will participate in the ‘open’ class.  The date for the event is April 20, 2024 and the new starting point will be the Walmart SuperCenter parking lot in Mount Vernon at I-5 Exit 227, (on the south side of the Skagit river).  This is a change from previous years.

Pre-registration will be $20 for the event and $30 for day of the Rallye.  The Rallye is again supporting Food Lifeline, a charitable food bank that distributes food throughout the region.  We are asking participants to contribute $5 towards Food Lifeline during their registration process rather than bringing canned foods to the event as Food Lifeline can stretch their resources further by buying in bulk.

Register through the web site or print the registration form and mail.  Mail in registration must be post-marked by April 13th.

For those who fail to make their registration on time, don’t worry!  Day of Rallye registration will be available at the Rallye starting point.  Please note that day of rallye registrations will not count towards club first place trophy counts.

Event check-in begins at 8:00 am.  The drivers’ meeting begins at 9:30 and the first cars will be sent out shortly thereafter.

If you have questions about MBCA participation, contact David Glass at davidr.glass@att.net or leave a message at 425-869-6706.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again!
