Canadian Okanagan Weekend
Friday, May 17th to Monday, May 20th

We will explore a well-kept secret of the Pacific Northwest, the Kelowna / Penticton Okanagan Valley. We will start with a drive over the famous and imposing Coquihalla Highway, including the Great Bear Snow Shed.

The rest of the weekend is designed to showcase everything this region has to offer. Yes, there will be wineries, but we will also visit a steam railway, honey farm, car museum and air museum. All of this while taking in the outstanding beauty of the valley, lakes, charming towns and restaurants.

Finally, we will return home via one of the regions other gems, BC’s route 3. It carves though mountains and valleys with the promise of open roads and little traffic. 😊

We will meet at Tanglebank Gardens Brambles Bistro in Abbotsford, British Columbia at 11:00 am on Friday, May 17th and then head out on our adventures. To sign up please email James Bambury (MBCA Seattle Section) or Joseph Anthony (BC Stars Section) by May 10th.   You will then be forwarded links to book the group hotel and activities. (note room availability is only guaranteed until May 6th).  The hotel is: Ramada by Wyndham Penticton Hotel & Suites, 1050 Eckhardt Avenue West, Penticton, BC V2A 2C3.

We will see you in the Okanagan!
